UN Secretary-General António Guterres did not see sexualized violence in the actions of HAMAS.

As reported by newsru.co.il, UN Secretary-General António Guterres refrained from adding the Palestinian terrorist organization HAMAS to the blacklist of sexual violence, instead calling for an “investigation into sexual violence against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.” Guterres’ position contradicts the findings of the report by the UN Special Representative Pramila Patten, who confirmed evidence that HAMAS terrorists raped their victims and executed naked women.

The UN leadership deliberately pursues a policy of silencing HAMAS’s crimes. Recall, the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths stated on February 14 in an interview with the British TV channel Sky News: “We do not consider HAMAS a terrorist group. It is a political movement.” Following the logic of the UN leadership, mass murders and rapes, hostage-taking, including infants, children, and the elderly, are not acts of terror but legitimate means of political struggle according to the UN.
