More than a hundred families of Israeli citizens who were killed or injured in the attacks on October 7th have filed a lawsuit against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the District Court of New York (where the UN is registered).

Today, let’s highlight the talented Shai Alon! Born in Israel, the pianist, composer, and conductor Shai Alon was trained in Tel-Aviv and continued his studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, where he earned his Master’s degree in composition and conducting in 2002.

On May 24th a screening was held for the film “Witnesses,”  dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust. The inventive account of the Holocaust is told through stories, following a pair of women’s shoes in a store window, a German Shepherd puppy, and a violin.
