Eden Golan – the voice of Israel at Eurovision

In May 2024, the Swedish city of Malmö will host the Eurovision Song Contest. Israel will be represented by 21-year-old Eden Golan. Born in Israel, she moved to Moscow with her family at the age of six due to her father’s work and spent 13 years there, developing a passion for singing and dancing from an early age. In Russia, Eden successfully participated in music competitions, and after returning to Israel, she continued her singing career. Her victory in the Israeli reality show ‘Kochav HaBa’ earned her the honor of representing Israel at Eurovision 2024. The song ‘Hurricane’, which Eden will perform in Sweden, was recently presented on the KAN channel. The music video for the song is now available on the official Eurovision YouTube channel. Israel has a rich history of participation in Eurovision, having won the contest four times.

In 1978, Izhar Cohen and the group Alphabeta captivated the audience with the song ‘A-Ba-Ni-Bi’.
In 1979, Gali Atari and the group Milk and Honey brought victory to the country with the song ‘Hallelujah’.
In 1998, Dana International took the world by storm with the song ‘Diva’.
And in 2018, Netta Barzilai won the hearts of Europe with the song ‘Toy’.

We wish Eden Golan success! בהצלחה (Good luck)
