From August 7 to 15, Marina Rosenberg Koritny, Head of the Department for the Promotion of Aliyah, and Israeli menswear designer Yossi Katzav embarked on a tour of Brazil.Lectures, meetings with the WIZO organization, and getting acquainted with local Jewish designers showed: Israeli fashion is not just style, but also a tool for cultural dialogue.

Israel is not just high-tech
The local fashion industry combines creativity, craftsmanship, and a bold vision of the global scene.

Yossi Katzav’s journey:

  • Started his career at Castro while still studying
  • Worked as a designer for DKNY Men in New York
  • Created the brand SKETCH by Yossi Katzav — minimalist menswear
  • Sold the brand for 5 million shekels
