Hebrew Ulpan Summer Party – WZO

Hebrew Ulpan Summer Party

Last  Sunday we celebrated Our Annual “WZO Department for the promotion of Aliyah” summer Party which proved to be yet another great experience. This live event brought together 150 participants for an amazing evening in JW3 community centre in London. There we celebrated the end of another fantastic year where 350 students in 28 classes from London and all over the UK and Ireland showed their love and determination to study Hebrew.

Warm congratulations came from the Mrs Tzipi Hotoveli, HE  Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, Noam Reef, WZO UK Head of delegation and Dimitri Mevzos, WZO Aliyah Promotion department coordinator

Food, dancing and music kept the crowd entertained for over two hours with a fitting tribute to end the term of Ulpan classes.

We have also celebrated and thanked our “maturest” Hebrew student Sydney Lightman who is 98 years old for his determination and active participation in our Hebrew study activities.
