The Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization of America, one of the largest women’s Zionist organizations in the world, was founded on March 3, 1912, by Henrietta Szold.
With the presence of Natan Berman, in charge of welcoming new immigrants at the Municipality of Jerusalem, and Leticia Baran, employment advisor at The Jewish Agency for Israel, the Aliyah Promotion Department of the World Zionist Organization held the conference ‘Living, Working, and Studying in Israel’.
