Daniela, Karina, Naama, and Liri returned home

On Saturday, January 25, Daniela Gilboa, Karina Arie, Naama Levi, and Liri Elbag returned home. All four served as IDF observers and were kidnapped from the Nahal Oz outpost. Their friend and fellow service member, Agam Berger, remains in captivity.

Red Cross workers handed over the freed girls to the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip territory. After that, they were brought to Israel, where their families met them.

The girls were kidnapped along with Noa Marchiano and Ori Megidish. Noa Marchiano died in the “Shifa” hospital, and her body was found and returned by the Israeli military. Ori Megidish was freed during a military operation in the Gaza Strip on October 30, 2023, 23 days after her kidnapping.

This coming Thursday, January 30, the release of Agam Berger (the fifth observer from the Nahal Oz outpost), Arbel Yehud (a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz), and another hostage is expected.
