We hosted the Nature of Israel event on October 6th, 2019. The event was a lady’s night where Zionist women gathered to study the nature of Israel, in preparation for aliyah. All participants created their own succulents made of cactus.
On May 24th a screening was held for the film “Witnesses,” dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust. The inventive account of the Holocaust is told through stories, following a pair of women’s shoes in a store window, a German Shepherd puppy, and a violin.
Marina Rosenberg Koritny, Head of the World Zionist Organization Department for the Promotion of Aliyah Ten years ago, in October 2015, at the 37th World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem, a decision was made to create the Department for the Promotion of Aliyah — a structure that would breathe new life into the Zionist idea.
Department for the Promotion of Aliya co-organized a rally at Columbia University campus where hundreds of activists and students chanted “Am Yisrael Chai” to call for an end to hatred towards the Jewish community.
