The 2019 Rosh Hashanah Israeli Celebration was led by Oceanview Jewish Center on September 30th. We celebrated a wonderful New Year with the encouragement of Jewish culture and Zionism. We hosted 200 people.
Encouraging Aliyah We held an Aliyah fair in New York, led by the WZO Department for the Promotion of Aliyah USA, aimed at Russian-speaking Jews who wanted to learn more about Israel and express support for the country, especially during this challenging time .
The Israeli newspaper “Maariv” published an article by the Head of the Aliya Promotion Department of WZO Marina Rozenberg Koritny, in which she discusses how the events of October 7th have influenced the diaspora Jews’ attitude towards Israel.
