Today, October 1st, with the sunset, Yom Kippur begins — the holiest and most important Jewish holiday.

The organization “Masa”, created by the Jewish Agency (“Sochnut”) and the government of Israel, is expanding the special volunteer program started after October 7th aimed at assisting Israeli society during this difficult period.

January 27 is annually observed as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
