In July, the 35th International Biology Olympiad “IBO-2024” took place in Kazakhstan, with 305 students from 81 countries around the world participating.

The Israeli team participated in the biology Olympiad for the first time last year, where they won 3 medals: one silver and two bronze. This year, our students won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

All participants of the Israeli school teams, who take part in international science Olympiads, began their journey to success at the Future Scientists Center of the Maimonides Fund. This center organizes open days annually as part of its specialized programs, created to support and develop the scientific and inventive potential of talented students.
