The Department For the Promotion of Aliyah of the World Zionist Organization is incredibly stunned by the brutal act of hate committed in the mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims and their loved ones. We are grateful to the courageous police responders for their swift response to save lives. We pray for them, we pray for those wounded, and for those we have lost.

Marina Rosenberg-Koritny, the Head of the Department for the Promotion of Aliyah, said: “It is horrifying to see such an unspeakable anti-Semitic attack carried out. Anti-Semitism has no place in our society. The Jewish community cannot allow this tragedy to intimidate it; rather we must come together and collectively fight against the spread of anti-Semitism”.

The Department For the Promotion of Aliyah of the World Zionist Organization extends its deepest sympathies and stands in solidarity with the Pittsburgh Jewish community and the entire American Jewish community. Together, the Worldwide Jewish Community, must make their voices heard loud, to bring an end to the hatred, the intolerance, and the senseless violence.
