Comment by Marina Rosenberg Koritny, Head of the World Zionist Organization Department for the Promotion of Aliyah: “The escalation of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel incidents worldwide is directly linked to the ongoing demonization of Israel by international organizations, such as the UN, and some media outlets. This rhetoric creates an atmosphere in which Jewish communities around the world become targets, and the responsibility for the situation in the Gaza Strip is placed on Jews, wherever they may live. Events such as the attacks in Brisbane, Paris, and Boulder show that anti-Semitism uses anti-Israel sentiment as a tool to justify hatred”.
