Happy Passover!

Passover begins this evening – the main Jewish holiday. This year, it starts at sunset on April 12 and ends on the evening of April 20.

Passover is not only a remembrance of the ancient Exodus from Egypt, but also a living symbol of our shared history, which continues today. This holiday reminds us that every Jew, no matter where they are, is part of the great narrative of freedom, an inseparable connection with the people of Israel, and returning home.

For some of you, the decision to repatriate to Israel has already become a modern embodiment of the ancient Exodus – a bold step towards a new life, full of opportunities and challenges. Others may still be contemplating this path. Remember: just as our ancestors once crossed the desert, so too can you overcome any obstacles on the way to your dream.

In these difficult times, when our people are once again facing challenges, Passover reminds us that we have always been and remain a people of hope and resilience. Together we are stronger – in joy and in trials.

Wherever you are holding the Passover Seder this year – may the light of the holiday illuminate your homes, and the sense of belonging to the Jewish people and its centuries-old history fill you with pride and inspiration.

We wish you a happy Passover, full of family warmth and new beginnings!
