Conference participants had the opportunity to discuss career prospects with representatives of Israel’s largest medical centers, including:

  • Sheba Hospital (Ramat Gan) — the largest medical center in Israel
  • Rambam Medical Center (Haifa)
  • Shaare Zedek Hospital (Jerusalem)
  • Soroka Medical Center (Be’er Sheva)
  • Assuta Medical Center (Tel Aviv)

The MedEx conference is part of Israel’s national program aimed at attracting medical professionals from abroad. This initiative helps to address the shortage of personnel in the country’s healthcare system.

Representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Health emphasized the importance of the program:
“Israel is interested in qualified medical professionals. We aim to facilitate their integration and employment in our healthcare system.”

Special support measures have been developed for repatriate healthcare professionals, including:

  • Simplified recognition of foreign diplomas and certificates
  • Language courses with a focus on medical terminology
  • Financial assistance during the adaptation period
  • Assistance in employment

The MedEx conference not only served as a platform for professional exchange of experience but also as an inspiring start for many specialists dreaming of contributing to the development of Israeli medicine. This event reflects the Zionist spirit of unity and return to the historical homeland, encouraging doctors and nurses from the USA and Canada to build a new life and career in Israel.
