В Израиль прибыли более 200 новых репатриантов из Индии, принадлежащие к колену Менаше. Группа состояла из потомков колена Менаше, живших в северо-восточных штатах Индии. В Индии оставалось еще 7000 потомков колена Менаше, заинтересованных в алии.
