The 2019 Rosh Hashanah Israeli Celebration was led by Oceanview Jewish Center on September 30th. We celebrated a wonderful New Year with the encouragement of Jewish culture and Zionism. We hosted 200 people.
On January 11 and 12, hearings took place at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague regarding a lawsuit brought by South Africa against Israel.
On May 29-30, Israel commemorates one of the most somber dates in the calendar of the Jewish state — the Memorial Day for the Fallen in Wars and Victims of Terrorism.
