5 Israeli startups have been included in the World Economic Forum’s ‘Technology Pioneers’ list for 2024
In June, the World Economic Forum introduced a hundred startups that made it into the prestigious “Technology Pioneers 2024” list.Companies represent various countries, including those beyond the traditional tech hubs.
The list’s geography is quite diverse: Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Ghana, Egypt, Israel, India, Indonesia, Canada, Kenya, China, Nigeria, Romania, Singapore, USA, Finland, France, Chile, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea, Japan.
Israel is represented by five innovative companies:
“Aim Security” – specializes in security for generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technologies and large language models (LLMs). The company offers a platform that manages risks, protects data, and ensures compliance with AI confidentiality and regulation for public and internal GenAI applications. Aim Security’s solutions prevent data leaks, intellectual property breaches, and other security threats associated with using GenAI and LLMs. The company was founded in 2022 and is based in Tel Aviv.
“BrainQ” – develops treatments for neurological diseases using brain-computer interface technologies aimed at restoring damaged neural connections and facilitating neurorehabilitation. The company was founded in 2016 and is based in Jerusalem.
“Enzymit” – a biotechnological company, develops cell-free enzyme production technology to make biomanufacturing faster, simpler, economically efficient, and sustainable. The company’s patented technology includes complex computational design algorithms, deep learning algorithms, and experimental tools for creating new enzymes. The company was founded in 2020 and is located in Ness Ziona.
“Imagindairy” – a food technology startup. Develops dairy products without animal components, having the same taste, texture, and nutritional properties as products from natural milk. The company was founded in 2020 and is located in Tirat Carmel.
“Wanda Fish” – is an agricultural technology company that develops a digital system for collecting, processing, and analyzing data on agricultural production and its optimization at all stages.
The “Technology Pioneers” ranking was founded in 2000 by the World Economic Forum. Among the startups that have been included in the ranking before are well-known companies such as Airbnb, Google, Kickstarter, Mozilla, Spotify, Twitter, and Wikimedia.
